Or does the woo-woo such as “sit on a rock on the second saturday of the month while holding lavendar from yosemite” have tangible effects? And what about what Tesla said about energy, frequency and vibration; how does that play into it?… I wrote: Gaffluence wrote: And what about what Tesla said about energy, frequency and vibration; how does that play into it? There’s technically no reason to charge a sigil. A sigil is nothing more than a symbol. A symbol is just a categorization of things that are referenced. When I say car or book, I am creating a category where I am stating that things that fit the criteria of those categories do so such that they can be placed within that category and thus treated as extensional members. This means there is a relationship between objects in that category and that category – the symbol. Think of an arrow being drawn from the sigil/symbol to whatever the sigil is about. Read More

I was just curious if any of you have a program or app that you use for creating your own digital grimoires? I’m looking for compatability with my phone (LG V40), exportation to PDF if possible and the ability to organize it in traditional book format. I am not a ceremonial magician; however, I practice Alchemy, Geomancy, and Thaumaturgy. There was a discussion on Thaumaturgy and how it relates to classical medieval figures such as Agrippa and John Dee. That conversation between zsd23 and I can be found here. I go in-depth on the mathematical basis for John Dee. I mention Agrippa, but I don’t explain too much the algorithms he was using. Agrippa was using a class of algorithms called magic square algorithms. In the book De occulta philosophia libri tres, Agrippa mentions 7 planetary magic squares. Those magic squares form the basis of a Read More

It seems like a lot of people practice Theurgy – Enochian magic, under the impression that’s what John Dee meant by Thaumaturgy. He was referencing the idea of the archetypal “black box” where a mechanism abstractly does something Read More

Or are you going to a parallel universe which is 99.99% the same, the only difference being that the new one has the changes you desire? I wrote: Yes, this reality is shifting.
